Hotel Waldhorn - Bern

A lovely stay! It's just a stroll to the Old Town, and I got free public transport tickets. My room was cozy, and I appreciated the quiet area with nearby cafes-perfect for a little post-exploration pit stop.

The shower had more drama than a soap opera-definitely a slippery situation!

The hotel is conveniently located near the city centre in a quiet residential location. It is reasonably priced relative to other hotels in the area.

Staff were very helpful, hotel is basic but served it's purpose. 15 minutes walk for the main Square/shopping centre

Free wi-fi, kind and helpful staff, underground parking,vary clean hotel. The hotel is basic but it is money for value according to the Bern's cost of life.

The bathroom is too small, small assortment of food for breakfast.

We stayed for only one night on our way south. The rooms were small, but clean. Breakfast was sufficient. At first the hotel looked remote, but a short walk revealed a tram going down town - and a bit futher on a square with shops, banks and restaurants.

No aircondition. First, if you go to Switzerland you must expect to pay a lot more compared to Germany or Italy. You feel that you've paid for luxory, but only get medium quality.

- Slippery shower facilities, room change required due to bath issues, dangerous for elderly

The rooms feel cramped and lacking in space for luggage!!! Parking entrance accessibility could improve!!! Basic facilities don't quite meet expectations for the price!!!

Staff are nice and helpful in guiding us where to go and visit. Response to our request of double bed before arrival via email. Clean and bright room. Breakfast is fine with nice breakfast room. Overall ok for us to have a short stay in Bern. Free Coffee and Tea machine for customers in the lobby, which is a very warm arrangement. Stable Wifi!

No air conditioner. But it seems normal for most same ranking of hotels in Switzerlands. The weather is cool so it's ok to just open windows. Other than that, nothing special. Everything is very nice!!!!

Good location, just a walking distance from Viktoriaschulhaus. Very very kind staff; efficient check in. Plentiful continental breakfast - outstanding breads and meats

Hotel Waldhorn provided a good stay with excellent cleanliness, cozy rooms, and a generous breakfast with a variety of breads, fresh fruit, and good Birchermuesli. The staff were friendly and helpful.

It was based in very well appointed building in a comfortable and easy location, in an undergroud cave. Quiet atmosphere, the staff was respectful, we had a fast check-in. Booked a room with panoramic views of the Bern old town.

What a charming little cramped prison cell they call a room! I really woudl ve been thrilled, if only i didn't have to navigate the narrow corners constantly. When I inquired about an upgrade or some special discount due to the experience, I was met with blank stares. Definitely would not recommend!
